Assembly Fire Truck Puzzle (on back order)

Papa (me!) did well when he serendipitously discovered "House of Henry" at a holiday crafts/vendor fair last holiday season. I have been waiting for 6+ months in my closet at home waiting to give it to my grandson on his 1st birthday!

I love this fire truck and my grandson does as well. It's made of high quality100% wooden parts except for the oversized plastic screws. They don't make toys constructed this well anymore.

This workbench/firetruck combo reminded me of the old all wooden cobblers bench with the three dowels and a hammer.

*Like with any young child's toy - keep a close eye on how adept the little angel is with his/her motor skills!! The plastic screws can come lose - and I could see my 1 yr old grandson sticking a plastic screw right in his mouth. But if we're doing what we're supposed to be doing with our kids/grandkids - it shouldn't be a problem. I doubt he'd get the dexterity/motor skills to unscrew any of them with the wooden screwdriver included. But I won't ever take that chance either.

My grandson just loves this! It was fun putting it together with him sitting next to me on the floor - watching his eyes get wider as the fire truck started to take shape.

There's no assembly instructions - but that's not an issue. Montessori toys are good for adult mind stimulation too!

He's going to have untold hours of fun with this, and it will be handed down from grandkid to grandkid in this house (he's the first born in my son/daughter in law's home.)

Whether it's for your kids or grandkids, this is learning toy that will reap years and years of enjoyment. Enjoy! We already are!!

This was very fun to build, I may have liked it more than my son! haha

This is unlike any other toy we have. It’s definitely a “mommy or daddy & me” toy and it’s so cute and the boys absolutely loved building it!
